READ

To read is a fundamental four letter word.

I love reading books with the three-year-old.  He loves reading them, too.  Tho sometimes his "reading" doesn't so much involve actual... you know... reading... but looking at the page and telling me a story in a language that I don't understand.

So when he couldn't find the books he wanted me to read this evening, I offered to make up a story and tell it to him.  I got the equivalent of one page in and he asked me to find him a book, any book, to read instead.

Oh well.

And I still can't find those books.
