MICE

The mice are four letter words with the Answer.

It is sometimes pleasant to re-read old books and catch details that one had forgotten. For example, I recently re-read that magnificent book The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and was reminded, of course, that the ultimate answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything had been determined by creatures who, in this dimension, appeared as mice.

They were here, of course, to run the great computer Earth in an effort to determine the question to that magnificent answer - 42.

Perhaps I'll spend the next year or so pondering the question myself.
